Tessi does not knowingly collect information from users under the age of 17.
Certain information is processed when you interact with the app. This may include account-related details you choose to provide, such as a display name or profile image, as well as content you post within the community.
In addition, basic technical data may be collected automatically, such as device type, operating system version, crash logs, and general usage patterns. This helps us maintain performance and improve reliability.
If location permissions are granted, approximate location data may be used to adjust language or regional content presentation. Precise location tracking is not required for normal use.
Tessi allows users to upload food-related images as part of posts and discussions. These images may be processed temporarily to support image-to-text generation and content display.
Tessi does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or identity matching. We do not collect or analyze facial features, nor do we attempt to determine age, gender, emotional state, or personal identity from images.
Uploaded images are treated purely as visual content for display and optional text generation. No facial templates or identity profiles are created.
Image data is processed only for the duration required to generate content or display posts and is not retained beyond normal app functionality. Users may delete their posts or images at any time.
Information processed by Tessi is used to operate community features, display user content, maintain app stability, moderate the platform, and respond to user support requests.
We do not use personal information for unrelated profiling or external advertising purposes.
Tessi does not sell personal data. Information may be shared with trusted service providers that support hosting, analytics, or moderation tools, under confidentiality obligations.
Data may also be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect the safety of users or the integrity of the platform.
We apply reasonable safeguards to protect information during processing and storage. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and users acknowledge this limitation.
